Do you have a story that needs to be told?
Partnering with Epilogue Podcast Project provides an underleveraged platform to engage your audience and reduce stigma around mental health. Character-driven storytelling reduces shame about discussing mental illness, trauma, addiction, and suicide and validates people experiencing them, all while bringing underreported issues to light.
Our long term goal for Epilogue Podcast Project is to produce an anthology series in which each episode tells a unique story. As we finish our pilot, we are actively researching issues related to youth mental health, criminalization of mental health conditions, and first responder mental health/suicide for potential future documentaries. We are open to telling any story which illuminates and supports issues of social justice and mental health.
We chose the format of an audio documentary series, distributed as a podcast, for the following reasons:
Podcasts are free and highly accessible.
Podcasts can be consumed as privately or publicly as the listener is comfortable with.
Audio documentary is the most cost-effective form of documentary production.
Given the personal and sometimes traumatic nature of the subject matter, audio documentary minimizes intrusiveness to the story subjects
